Samuel Dalembert - SIGNED TO PLAY FOR SETON HALL. 6-11 Center from St Patrick's HS in Elizabeth, NJ. Dalembert is rated one of the Top 25 High School players in the Nation & the top Center prospect. Athelon Basketball Magazine rated him to be the #2 HS Player in the Nation. He is considered the nation's top shot blocker with tremendous upside potential. One publicaton compared him to Patrick Ewing & noted that he may well end up as a NBA Star. Sam was named MVP of the Roundball Classic in So Carolina at Christmas time He had 22 blocks in 3 games. Averaged 13 ppg, 12 rbs & 8 blocks per game this season. He was named First Team ALL STATE NJ & 3rd Team PARADE ALL AMERICA. Sam played on Team USA in the Capitol Classic on 4/8. He grabbed 8 rebs & had 1 block in 13 minutes of play. Scored 12 pts & 10 rbs in Derby Classic in Lexington, Ky. He chose SH over Umass, Syracuse, Kentucky, Villanova & Rutgers . .
Darius Lane - ENROLLED AT SETON HALL. 6-4 210 lb. 2G from Minnesota. Top 75 nationally. Averaged 24.7 ppg, 5 assists, & 10 rbs last season. Averaged 27.3 ppg, 11 rbs. & 5 steals last year. Had scored over 2000 career points. Co-Winner of the Minnesota Player of the Year Award. Chose Seton Hall over Minnesota, Iowa St., Clemson, Virginia, & Creighton.
Greg Morton -COMMITTED VERBALLY TO PLAY FOR SETON HALL 6-8 PF from St Raymond's HS in NYC. He is one of the best players in NYC this year & is rated among the Nations Top 100 HS players. He is a defensive & rebounding specialist who is working on improving his offensive game. Last year as a junior he averaged 11 pts, 7 rbs & 7 blocks per game. He was named to the All Tournament Team at the DWI Classic at Christmas time. Is averaging 11 ppg & 7 rpg this season. Greg chose SH over Notre Dame, Providence, Virginia & Texas
Desmond Herod - TRANSFERRING TO SH FROM UNLV. Will sit out next season & then have 3 years eligibility. 6-4 2G/SF was the 2nd highest scorer in history in NYC scoring over 2500 pts for his HS career. Averaged over 30 ppg in his Jr & Sr years of HS. Was a teammate of Charles Manga. As a freshman this year at UNLV he averaged 5.5 ppg & led the team in 3 pt shooting at 34.8%. He was a reserve most of the season but won a starting role for last 4 games. High game was 18 vs TCU. Was a Top 75 National HS player as a HS Senior.
Al Harris - SIGNED TO PLAY FOR SETON HALL NEXT SEASON. 6-7 WF originally from Florida plays at Winchedon Academy in Mass. Last season he averaged 26 pts, 12 rbs & 3 blocks per game. Harris is a very strong & athletic player. Has been injured this yr. but averaged 13 ppg & 7 rpg this season. He chose Seton Hall over West Virginia, Florida State, Umass, BC & Providence

BB&T Tournament - Seton Hall will play in this Tournament on Dec 4 & 5, 1999 at the MCI Center in Washington DC. Other teams are Maryland, Illinois & GW. The Seton Hall Booster Club is planning a Trip for that weekend to D.C.
Kevin Wilkins -SIGNED WITH SH. 6-7 F from Talahassee Junior College. Averaged 16 points & 9 Rbs for the # 2 ranked Juco Team which finished with 35-2 record. Originally fron Atlatic city HS. Also recruited by Texas A&M, Providence & Rutgers
